International food expert James Oseland—the former editor-in-chief of Saveur magazine and long-serving judge on “Top Chef Masters”—will lead a virtual cooking demo class for AWC members and guests.
Join us for a sneak peek at James’ upcoming cookbook, “World Food: Mexico City,” and learn to make delicious and easy Mexican recipes how they’re really supposed to be made, autentico! Buy your ingredients before the class and cook along with James. Or, just come to watch and take notes. This event is open to the public; early registration is advised.

More about James Oseland
Called a “legend” of the food world by the Los Angeles Times, James Oseland has been traveling the world and writing about international cuisines for over three decades. He was editor-in-chief of Saveur magazine for eight years, where his work garnered multiple awards from the James Beard Foundation, the International Association of Culinary Professionals, and the American Society of Magazine Editors. His landmark cookbook “Cradle of Flavor” was named one of the best books of the year by the New York Times and “Good Morning America.” He was a judge for five seasons on the Bravo show “Top Chef Masters” and is also the author of the critically acclaimed memoir, “Jimmy Neurosis.”
