Business Women's Group

The American Women's Club of London's Business Women's Group welcomes all Club women whether or not they are presently working outside the home. Programs are held in the evening and range from interesting speakers who share professional insights to social events offering fellowship and networking.

Filling an important niche for:

Working American women who may have come to London on their own and may therefore be lacking a family support network available to "trailing spouses."
Newly arrived American working women "stuck" within the confines of their offices, unsure about how to make friends or network with others.
Long established working women in London who may welcome meeting other American women - with whom they will most likely have a lot in common.

Activities include:

Social interaction -- nights out with and without partners, cultural activities, and informal get-togethers
Support -- listening to problems, sharing of opportunities, ideas and helpful information
Networking -- a chance to meet other women and share career ideas and possibilities
Motivation -- programs that inspire members to branch out in new ways
Opportunities to get involved -- suggesting, planning and doing

Garrard craftsmen and jewelry experts have created and maintained the most famous symbols of the British Royal Family, including the Crown Jewels on view in the Tower of London.
